Of course, California is still doing this…
Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that the entity filed a lawsuit in which the state of Maine fails to comply with an executive order from President Donald Trump banning men from women’s sports. California seems to be moving in the same way as the pine tree. (Related: AG Pam Bondi announces that a meaningless decision by a federal judge involving transathletes is under review)
Transgender athlete Ab Hernandez was “winning” in multiple women’s track and field events in 2025. As for Trump’s EO, California schools have done nothing to follow suit, and they have tried to stop Hernandez from joining in any way. Statewide, Hernandez is ranked No. 1 Each one has a triple jump for girls and a long jump for girls.
Unreal. Top 100 girls in California athletics events have been announced by today @milesplit And the boys lead in two events.

And it’s not just Hernandez. California also allowed Abigail Jones to steal number one in the women’s 300 metre hurdle event on Wednesday.
breaking break: Abigail Jones, a male athlete competing in the women’s team at MLK HS in Riverside, California, finished first in the 300m hurdle tonight.
This is not fair.
