Multiple San Francisco residents are suing city officials over an “illegal” program that provides taxpayer funding to biological black and Latino men who “identify as women.”

The GIFT program initially targeted 55 applicants and provided income and access to “gender-affirming medical and mental health care,” according to a Breed press release.
