Yuma, Arizona (KYMA, KECY-TV) – A breezy, windy afternoon crossing the southwest of the desert, which thankfully eases tonight.
Sunny and cooler temperatures are expected by tonight, with nighttime lows continuing to cool through the end of the week.
La Paz County could experience freezing temperatures Thursday through Saturday.
Looking ahead to Friday and the weekend, the next three days will be mild and mild weather. Then another weather disturbance will come to our area.
The next storm system is expected to bring the possibility of precipitation and low temperatures early next week.
drought: No change from last week in short-term drought conditions, but recent winter events have really helped the southwest improve.
