Camel Bites ‘1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Star, Leading To Arrest For Alleged Child Endangerment, Narcotics

The Crockett County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that “1,000-Lb Sister” star Amy Slaton Holterman was arrested at Safari Park.

Slaton Halterman was visiting the unnamed safari park when she claimed someone was bitten by a camel. According to “Upon arrival, deputies were immediately overwhelmed by a suspicious odor coming from the guest's vehicle,” the sheriff's department's Facebook post said, indicating they were searching for some kind of strong-smelling illegal substance.

Halterman and a man, Brian Scott Loveborn, were in the vehicle at the time. Both were arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I drug, unlawful possession of a Schedule VI drug, and two counts of child endangerment.

Both men were booked into the Crockett County Jail on charges. (Related article: The so-called science media doesn't want people to discriminate against obese people who don't want to diet or exercise.)

It's unclear whether the camel's victim was Halterman or LoVaughn. Her husband, Michael Halterman, filed for divorce from his 1,000-pound wife in 2023, TMZ reports. attentionThey sing two songs together. It is unclear if the children mentioned in the post are them.

While the situation certainly seems chaotic, crazy, and sad for these kids, I highly recommend reading the comments on the Sheriff’s Facebook post, my favorite being “What the hell is going on with a mayonnaise sandwich with banjo music playing?”
