This may be an unpopular opinion, but it’s okay for Desmond Bain to put it all on the table, as to how passive people today are and how cat paws should do it.
Hell, you’re more willing to push your teammates and then get results than to boil tension with them over a long period of time. Just open it and you can proceed from there.
