Canyon del Oro grad Andrew Stucky ACCAC Player of the Year

Pima University sophomore catcher Andrew StuckyGraduated from Canyon Del Oro High School.

He appeared in 49 games and had 156 plate appearances. 359 batting average, leading the Aztecs with 19 doubles, 28 walks, and tying the lead with 56 hits and five home runs. Stuckey also had 37 RBIs, a .480 on-base percentage, and a .603 slugging percentage. 975 fielding percentage with 110 putouts.

sophomore infielder Gage Mestas Selected to First Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region.

He appeared in 48 games in 169 plate appearances. Mestas led the Aztecs with 49 runs and 26 steals. He also had 54 hits, 9 doubles, 3 triples, 29 RBIs, and 14 walks. Mestas produced a fielding average of 1,000 with 74 putouts.

sophomore left-handed pitcher Matt Cornelius Selected to 2nd Team All-ACCAC and 2nd Team All-Region I.

He made 14 appearances on the mound. He went 72.0 innings with a 3.00 ERA and he went 9-2, 13 of which he pitched as a starter. He gave up 24 earned runs with 25 walks and 73 strikeouts.

Sophomore catcher and designated hitter Hunter Feild Selected for the second team All-ACCAC.

He led the Aztecs in 53 games, 184 plate appearances, and 39 RBI. He tied the team lead with Stuckey with 56 hits and five home runs. Feild also batted .304 with 25 runs, 10 doubles and 21 walks. 989 fielding percentage with 178 putouts.

sophomore infielder Rocco Gumpson of former Arizona player Chris Gump, was named Second Team All-ACCAC. He appeared in 47 games and had 42 hits in 126 plate appearances. 333 with 32 runs, 28 RBIs, 14 walks, 12 stolen bases, 4 doubles, and 3 triples. 947 fielding percentage with 26 putouts.

freshman right pitcher JT Drake He was also named Second Team All-ACCAC.

Drake finished the regular season leading the NJCAA with 13 saves. He made 19 appearances for the Hills, going 2–0 with a 2.31 ERA in 35 innings. He gave up nine earned runs with 14 walks and 26 strikeouts.

The No. 3 seed Azteca will play No. 2 South Mountain Community College in the NJCAA Region I, Division I Semifinals.The first game of the Best of 3 Series starts Thursday at 2pm
