Sierra Vista, Arizona (KGUN) — Staff at Canyon Vista Medical Center celebrate the highest recognition from parent company Lifepoint Health.

CEO Sean Phillips and Chief Nursing Officer Cosette Britton received the award at a conference in Nashville in February. The hospital received the company’s Operational Excellence Award in the Western Division. Lifepoint Health has his three divisions that divide the country into her thirds.

“We make sure that we provide the highest possible clinical quality for the services we provide,” said Phillips. It shows that we are trying to move in the right direction.”

Britton said she and Phillips were shocked when it was announced that they had won the award.

“It’s an honor,” she said. “[The community]asks. We listen. We listen to the needs of the community.”

This recognition is given to facilities that have committed to and improved service line growth, patient quality and safety, and workforce development.

This is the first time that the hospital has received the award since joining. life point health 2018 system.

Phillips said he and his team are committed to continuing to grow and improve. LeapFrog and he want to improve both CMS scores.
