CASEY RYAN: Maine Stepped In It Big Time

President Donald Trump and Education Secretary Linda McMahon have worked hard for the past few months to eliminate radical gender ideology from American schools. Despite our best efforts to ensure that our academic institutions provide appropriate education to our students, Maine has rebelled resolutely at every turn to overtake California as the capital of the US eye, in an obvious attempt to awaken California.

Maine’s rebellion began in February when Trump held his annual dinner for the country’s governor. When the president discussed his executive order banning men from participating in women’s sports, he called on Maine’s Democratic government, Janet Mills, who said her state would lose federal funds if she fails to comply. Mills replied that she would see Trump in court.

The issue has now escalated to the point where the Education Division (ED) has justified multiple Maine investigations due to its refusal to comply with federal and Trump laws. Executive order Remove gender ideology from state schools. (Related: Trump’s Ed Division launches a “special investigation team” to eradicate gender ideology, trans athletes)

Ed’s Civic Office (OCR) Release Maine’s investigation the same week as the president’s dinner over allegations that the state “enables male athletes to compete in inter-linear athletics for girls and deny intimate facilities exclusively for women. The OCR was evident in a statement that refusing to adherence leads to loss of federal funds.

The department then provided it last We warn Maine on March 31st before handing over the investigation to the Department of Justice. The OCR explained with a warning that there was no lawsuit as the administration provided a resolution contract to Maine earlier in the month. The state has a deadline of April 11th and risks losing funds.

Parents of custody groups defend education as Maine embraces gender ideology (PDE) Surveyed We found that 57 school districts across the state and Maine had official policies that would leave students’ gender identities hidden from parents.

Teachers and administrators in these districts work with K-12 students to ensure that transgender identities are not revealed to parents, and in some cases promote gender ideology across student organizations. The PDE found that 59% of state students attend public schools under these policies.

Under McMahon’s guidance, Ed used this report launch A separate Maine investigation last month allegedly violated the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) by withholding important health information from the parents of these students. Felpa It is a law that provides parents with the right to access their children’s school records.

McMahon announcement The investigation with PDE President Nicole Neely, who explained these policies, was far too common and even widespread in previous administrations. In a statement, McMahon I explained it Parents “have the right to access their child’s educational records and guide and protect their child’s mental, emotional and physical well-being.” She added that policies that prohibit parents from accessing are “both illegal and immoral.”

The Trump administration is making sure the stones don’t turn over. The same day the investigation was published, Ed Sent The “dear colleague” letters to schools around the country remind us that parents have the right to an educational record, including knowing the gender identity of their children under Phelpa. The department explained that schools that refuse to comply could lose federal funds.

This is not an air threat given that the Trump administration stripped its $400 million Columbia University and is currently in the process of cutting funds from Princeton University.

The administration has fulfilled its promise that schools will be held accountable for their actions.

Institutions promoting gender ideology should not continue to receive federal tax dollars.

Recent polls It was revealed 64% of Maine residents are opposed to allowing men to play in women’s sports. Mills supports a policy that is highly unpopular in her state for reasons other than appealing to a small number of her party bases. If the governor really cares about her students, she follows federal law and removes radical gender ideology from the state’s system.

Schools in all states are responsible for providing a safe environment for children to receive a proper education. Unfortunately, Maine students don’t have that safe environment. They are more valuable.
