It’s day 19 of the Yavapai Silent Witness CATCH 22 program. Today, Yavapai County Law Enforcement is asking for your help in searching for fugitive Nicholas Tyler Johnson. On June 9, 2020, a suspect opened fire on a home at Block 4200 North Papago Lane in Prescott Valley. No suspect was found at the time of the incident. On June 10, officers were able to locate the gun owner, Nicholas Johnson, in the Navajo and Frontage Road neighborhoods of Prescott Valley. Johnson was still in possession of the gun, which was found stolen from Phoenix. In addition, Johnson was a prohibited possession of firearms, which is prohibited by law. Johnson is currently wanted with a warrant for weapons misconduct and another warrant for auto theft and burglary from a separate case.
Johnson was described as a 24-year-old Caucasian male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with dark hair and hazel eyes. His last address was at Block 14,000 in North Black Canyon, Phoenix, Arizona.
