tristan thompson, the Cleveland Cavaliers' washed-up superstar center, was suspended 25 games without pay by the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug policy. Adam Silver & Co. handed down the punishment to the 32-year-old on Tuesday.
The NBA announced that Thompson tested positive for Ibutamoren, a growth hormone used to strengthen muscles in weightlifters and bodybuilders, and the SARM LGD-4033.
Thompson is scheduled to begin serving his suspension on Wednesday as Cleveland is scheduled to begin its game period. 2 games in 3 days, the first is against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Cavs are currently on an eight-game winning streak.

Thompson is currently in his second stint with the Cavs, the same team that drafted him in 2011. He is royalty in The Land, helping lead the Cavaliers to the 2016 NBA title, the city's first major professional sports championship since 1964.
He spent his first nine seasons in Cleveland, eventually playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, and Indiana Pacers.
The Cavaliers brought him back through free agency before the 2023-24 season. This season, he is averaging 3.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 12 minutes per game.
