Celebrate July Fourth with Baseball, Fireworks at Kino Stadium

Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium will host the Sunbelt College Baseball League showcase game on Tuesday, July 4, with fireworks after the game.

The gates will open at 6:00 pm, the pre-game ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm, and the first pitch will be thrown at 7:30.

Kino has partnered with the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank to collect donations in lieu of tickets. Anyone who wants to participate in this event can do so by donating 1 non-perishable meal or $1. A community food bank collects donations at the stadium entrance.

When you enter the stadium, you’ll receive a free 4th of July themed giveaway item while supplies last. During the evening, games are set up along the concourse with prizes and inflatables for children to play. The concession stand sells $1 hot dogs and specialty drinks.

This year marks Keno Stadium’s 25th anniversary, and the 4th of July event serves as a year-long acknowledgment of the facility and what it brings to Pima County.
