Hollywood stars took a break from the daily hassles and cherished the simple things in life this Christmas.

The usual suspects who flood us with social media updates have been surprisingly quiet, and the ones who usually flaunt lavish gift exchanges haven’t given us any details. Christmas 2024 was a refreshing change, a low-key, private celebration centered around appreciating what is truly important in life. The Kardashians are also holding back this year, opting to share snippets of holiday moments rather than showcasing the expensive items they gifted each other.

Kim Kardashian typically showcases her wealth with a photo dump, but this year she instead took fans on a tour of the Lego house she built with her kids. She showed off the “Home Alone” house she built with her kids and shared a video of a gingerbread house featuring famous family names. She never showed off her talent, but we’re grateful for the temporary reprieve.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker also seem to have had a relatively low-key Christmas celebration. Courtney shared a photoreel that included images of herself holding a Nirvana record and a Frank Sinatra LP. It wasn’t fancy or fancy, but we were quite fine with it.

Kendall Jenner shared a video of herself playing a card game with her family and showed off her Christmas outfit, but she refrained from showing off any presents or presents they exchanged.

Sofia Vergara kept things simple by sharing a few snaps of herself in a sexy red pajama set. There were no Christmas presents to be found, and she was photographed enjoying some sweet moments with her beloved dogs.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may no longer be a couple, but he reportedly told Lopez autograph book Written by Marlon Brando. While this was certainly valuable and meaningful, it was far from the glittering diamond we’ve come to expect from these two.

Heidi Klum posted a fun ski video on social media, posing in her pajamas with her family while enjoying a trip to Aspen during the holidays.

Even Paris Hilton, who is famous for showing off the contents of her closet and showing off expensive items, decided to keep things pretty simple this year. She shared family photos of her children, as well as photos and video shoots showing off racy, nearly nude outfits in a background supporting Coco Chanel. What she actually received for Christmas remains a mystery.

It’s unclear whether the recent spate of luxury heists has caused stars to refrain from bragging about the items they’ve received this year, or whether they’ve actually focused on what’s really important this holiday season. Whatever the reason, Christmas 2024 has been canceled for celebrities, but we can only hope that the stars keep things a little more normal.
