I’m looking forward to landing my bag… Now it’s Stephen A’s time!
ESPN has decided to keep Stephen A. Smith as a superstar.
According to reports from AthleticSports (and political) figures have reached an agreement with the four-letter network for a five-year contract extension worth at least $100 million. (Related: Pat McAfee is said to have been killed for him and his daughter after he defended America)
The report says Smith will continue his “first take” as his primary hosting obligation with ESPN. On top of that, some of his contracts will result in fewer appearances on other shows and allow him to invest in podcasts more time. It’s where he can get more free on topics, especially politics.
Athletic also reports that Smith’s days as a regular at ESPN’s NBA coverage are over.

Congratulations, Stephen A. Smith!
I’m always happy to see someone land a bag, especially when I’m a person I really like, like Stephen A. I highly doubt that nearly $100 million writers are writers, but if I could make just a little slither for the day, I would be happy.
By the way, praise Stephen A for cutting off such sweet deals, money and freedom.
That’s almost impossible.
