Actor Chad McQueen, who played Dutch in “The Karate Kid” film series, died on Wednesday at the age of 63.

According to TMZ, sources close to McQueen say he suffered injuries in recent years that led to severe organ failure and ultimately led to his death.
The nature of the injuries or the circumstances of the incident that led to them were not released.
McQueen is best known for his role as Dutch in the 1984 classic “The Karate Kid,” and reprised the role in the 1986 sequel, “The Karate Kid II.” According to TMZ, he did not appear in the final season of “Cobra Kai.”

In addition to his skills in front of the camera, McQueen was also an avid professional car racer, reportedly competing in a variety of racing events, including the Baja 1000 and motocross, according to TMZ. McQueen even brought home the World Mini Grand Prix trophy at age 12, according to the outlet.
He is the only son of actor and racing driver Steve McQueen and famously, as a child in 1971, sat on his father's lap at the wheel of a Porsche 917 while the car reportedly reached 100 mph.
