Charlie Sheen’s 19-year-old daughter shared a message on Instagram Wednesday, letting fans know that she turned to Christianity after hitting “rock bottom.”
Laura Sheen’s long caption began with the words “My testimony,” along with a white heart emoji and several photos showing she was baptized.
“When I was at my lowest point, there was a moment when I realized I was at rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless, but I just tried to do my best for the next day. ” she wrote.
Laura described how her faith helped her get through difficult times.
“I accepted that my life would be like this forever and thought I would never be able to laugh again, until I met not only my Savior, but my best friend, Jesus,” she said.
The image showed Laura wearing all black and soaking in a large bathtub without makeup.
“I can’t explain it other than it was supernatural, but Jesus met me where I was and He became my sunshine forever. No one else could choose.” “When Jesus chose me when I wasn’t, when He loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love, I began to trust Him with my life,” she said. wrote.
She went on to say, “He gave me light and delivered me from darkness when I couldn’t find my light.”
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughter provided additional details about her personal struggles in the caption.
“Jesus saved me from struggling with severe anxiety and gave me a sense of peace,” she said. “I found myself laughing again in places where I had only cried before.”
“Jesus fulfilled his promise to make me new and completely renewed my heart. He is the only reason I am here today and has made my life worth living. “I gave it to you,” she continued.

Laura explained the motivation for her religious conversion.
“I decided to get baptized at the beginning of this year because I was able to get through this year on the strength of Jesus alone. And after publicly proclaiming Jesus as my Savior, I am so happy that I will be baptized next year. I will be saved forever by the grace of God through faith.”
