New Location for The Toasted Owl Cafe in Phoenix
A vintage-themed cafe known as The Toasted Owl, originally from Flagstaff, is set to open a new location in Phoenix. This charming spot, which Cecily Maniaci started in downtown Flagstaff back in 2013, boasts decorations featuring antique owls—most of which are actually for sale.
Over the years, The Toasted Owl has expanded to three locations, including another cafe in Flagstaff and one in Phoenix, located near the Hands Bookstore in the Newton Plazas. The upcoming Phoenix spot will take the place of the Oink Cafe in the redeveloped Paradise Valley Mall. Maniaci has indicated that the new location is expected to open this fall, situated at the northwest corner of Cactus Road and Paradise Valley Parkway.
Maniaci expressed a personal connection to the area, stating, “I chose this place because the whole area is close to my heart and is important. I grew up in that area and raised my children there.”
The Toasted Owl menu features a variety of breakfast options, including burritos, pancakes, sandwiches, and their trademark cinnamon rolls. For those with dietary restrictions, there’s a vegan breakfast menu as well. The new location is said to introduce new dishes, like a sirloin steak combo served with eggs and potatoes, and even a slice of Apple Pie.
Address: 4326 E. Cactus Road, Phoenix.
