‘Chicken’: Famous UFC Fighter Calls Out Conor McGregor’s Fight Postponement Over Pinky Toe Injury

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Islam Makhachev has criticized Conor McGregor for postponing a scheduled bout due to an injury to his pinky finger.

McGregor was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303. according to The Irishman announced the injury and postponement in an Instagram post on Friday, according to the New York Post.

“No pinky needed in a fight lol. Chicken 🐓,” Makhachev posted on Twitter on Friday in response to the UFC fighter.

“I lost focus, trained without full protective gear and smashed my elbow and toe, breaking them,” McGregor wrote on Instagram on Friday. “It will be a few weeks.”

There has been speculation that McGregor could eventually fight Chandler, with the New York Post reporting that a fight between the two has been anticipated for the past two years.
