Chinl barely beat Tuba City the last time he played, but this time it wasn’t. The Wildcats were injured by the Warriors in a sharp 13-3 victory on Monday. As a result, it wasn’t new to the Wildcats, who have scored eight matchups on more than nine runs so far this season.

Kenon Sorrell spent all five innings on the mound, and it’s clear why. He surrendered two (and one unearned) with three hits, earning 10 ks. He wasn’t just reliable. He has not given up on more than two walks in his eight consecutive appearances.

On the hit side, McCaden Arthur and Jacobena Stacio dealt most of the damage on the plate. Arthur scored two runs and won two runs on base in three of his four plate appearances. Arthur has become an important player for Chinle. Teams post at least two runs to 10-1, but otherwise it’s 4-8. Duane Ayze is another key player, riding the bass in three of his four plate appearances and scoring two runs.

The victory brought Chinle to two consecutive wins, knocking his season record at 14-9. These wins were thanks to their hit performances in that stretch as they averaged 9.0 runs in that game. As for Tuba City, they recently lost nine of their last 11 contests and traveled rocky paths. This puts a notable dent in the 5-11 record this season.

There will be a lot of interregional action soon. Singhru is set to face familiar enemy Ganad at 4pm on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tuba City will take on rival pages at 4pm on Wednesday.
