Incident in Cincinnati Streets Raises Concerns
A woman named Holly, who was involved in a recent street fight in Cincinnati, spoke on Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle” about her experience. According to her, when she saw an officer knocked unconscious during the conflict, no one took her name or statement afterward.
Video footage from July 27 shows the chaotic scene at Elm and Force Streets, where Holly was trying to intervene in the fight but ended up getting knocked out herself. Host Laura Ingraham noted that Holly left the scene in an Uber, rather than in an ambulance, which is quite concerning.
“Yeah, I did,” Holly confirmed. “My face was a mess, still covered in blood. When we spoke to the officers who finally showed up, they didn’t call for backup or even request an ambulance. I was just relieved when my Uber finally arrived.”
Holly described the officers as surprisingly casual given the circumstances. “There were still around a hundred people in the street. It was chaotic, with people bleeding and torn clothing all around us. They didn’t even take a statement from me,” she remarked.
The fight reportedly began with four men, and one individual was seen being trampled multiple times. As the video continues, Holly is later seen being punched and knocked unconscious while lying in the street.
Ingraham appeared taken aback by Holly’s claims and inquired if the officers had taken any of her information. Holly responded, “They didn’t even ask my name. An aggressive victim nearby tried to push for his name to be taken, but it was a struggle.”
“When I finally got into the Uber, I thought, ‘The police don’t care.’ I wasn’t planning to file a report since it seemed pointless—they didn’t even want to know who I was,” Holly added.
Holly emphasized that, to her knowledge, none of the officers interviewed anyone from the crowd that night. She noted seeing officers with crossed arms, leaning against their cars, seemingly indifferent to the situation.
“I was just struck by their attitude—it was disrespectful and an absolute dishonor,” she reflected. “At that point, I knew I didn’t want to engage with them. It felt very uncomfortable, in so many ways.”
“I ended up going home and just wanted to sleep it off. It was surreal because I had a concussion, and my face was covered in blood,” Holly mentioned.
In the aftermath of the incident, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Tegge held a press conference, announcing that five individuals had been charged in connection with the melees, and more charges might follow. Tegge faced backlash for suggesting that the video footage didn’t capture the entirety of the incident.
The Cincinnati Police Department has not yet responded to inquiries regarding the incident.
