Sierra Vista, Ariz. – U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) has named Fiona de Young as the new Cochise County-based Regional Liaison. As a community liaison, de Young will assist legislators with community outreach, voter casework and other services in Sierra Vista and surrounding areas, including Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties.
“We are thrilled to welcome Fiona to the team and know she will work hard to ensure our office has a strong presence in our district, especially Cochise County. ” Ciscomani said. “She has a proven track record of dedication and dedication to improving our state, and I look forward to having her on my staff to bring results to our district.”
Fiona de Young has seven years of community service and government relations involvement, most recently as spokesperson for the Rincon Valley Fire District, overseeing the FEMA grant program in wildfire risk reduction. In addition, De Young previously served as grant outreach coordinator in Sierra Vista and Phoenix for Senator Martha McSally (R, Arizona). De She Young graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she focused her graduate studies on information technology policy and rural broadband deployment. She is proud to call Cochise County her home and she couldn’t be happier to serve the people of Arizona State 6.th area.
