As monsoon season approaches, residents are encouraged to stay up to date with the latest information, including the following recommendations:

  • Do not attempt to cross flooded areas. Please respect all traffic barricades: roads flood quickly and cars can float in just a foot of water.
  • To report a flood emergency, call 911.
  • Concerns about flooding of roads and streetsPlease call the Public Works Department at 928-213-2100.
  • Do not leave trash, garbage or debris in areas that may flood. The objects float in floodwaters and clog storm drains and river channels.
  • Please contact the Stormwater Division at 928-213-2472. Learn about steps you can take to protect your home or business. There are ways to modify your building to minimize flood damage.
  • If you are concerned about flooding on your private property, The Stormwater Management Division can investigate and may be able to assist, please contact the Stormwater Management Inspector at 928-213-2474.
