TUCSON, Arizona (KGUN) — Fall means City’s slow-pitch softball league is back in the diamond. The city of Tucson will hold a refereeing clinic this Thursday to recruit more referees for the fall season.
The Tucson Department of Parks and Recreation says no experience as an umpire is required, but participants should be familiar with the game of softball.
If you are interested, please come to the free clinic. Umpires’ salaries start at $20 an hour, according to the city.
