Climbers have found the body of a hiker who has been missing for 37 years while exploring a Swiss glacier, the BBC reports.
A group of climbers discovered the remnants of a melted glacier in early July on the Teodul glacier in Zermatt, Switzerland. according to BBC. He reportedly noticed climbing boots and crampons protruding from the ice surface, and further DNA analysis revealed that the body belonged to a German mountaineer who went missing in 1986. . Previous expeditions to rescue the man have failed as investigators failed to find him. Traces of climbers.
