The Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce will have a rare lunch meeting at the networking event in April, with guest speaker Ray Fenton, Head Football Coach of Los Alamitos High School.
Additionally, Craig Covey, the new Orange County Fire Department Chief, will be in attendance along with EPSON America CEO Keith Kratzberg.
Chamber officials say the event will take place on Thursday, April 6 at EPSON America, 3131 Katella Ave. Registration and advance payment are required at www.losalchamber.org. After payment, the guest will receive a security email directly from her Epson to authorize entry.
The cost is $25 for members and military and $35 for everyone else. We invite the general public to participate.

Ray Fenton has over 30 years of high school coaching experience. His high school coaching career began at his Valley High School in Mojave, Arizona. After a successful run and a complete turnaround for the Dust Devils program, he headed to the bright lights of Las Vegas.
In Las Vegas, Ray Fenton opened a new school in the Henderson neighborhood named Foothill. At Foothill, Ray was able to lead the Falcons to a top 10 team in the nation.
During his time at Foothill, he won countless awards including Nevada State Coach of the Year. In addition to coaching, Ray received the Hero Award from the Clark County School District after displaying great courage in a post-game bus accident.
At the height of his Las Vegas success, there was a job offer at his alma mater, Cypress High School. Seeing it as an opportunity to go home, he accepted his job at Centurion.Ray returned to California and led Cypress to his CIF Championship in 2007. Due to a budget crisis in his Union High School district of Anaheim, Ray left Cypress and eventually found his way to Fountain Valley High School. Ray coached Ross Barons for three years before he replaced the legendary John Burns at Alamitos High School. In his brief time with the Griffins, he led them to his two Sunset League titles and his CIF semi-finals.
