Maine state marine officials and others are searching for an 18-year-old lobster fisherman whose unmanned boat was found.
How did the authorities find out he was missing?
Steuben’s Tyler Michaud was checking traps and setting bait off the island of Petit Manan on Friday in his boat, Top Gun. Authorities were informed that he had not returned from his trip. The boat was found near Jonesport on Friday night, but Michaud was missing. Petit Manan Island is located 2.5 miles south of Petit Manan Point in the town of Steuben, Washington County, Maine.

according to Portland Press HeraldThe Coast Guard continues its search for Lobster Man while battling heavy fog. In such cases, helicopters are usually used to search the water, but fog makes visibility difficult. Several local and professional boaters have joined the search for Michaud, but so far he has not been found.
Will the search continue on Sunday?
The Maine Marine Patrol said in a media release that it will continue its search for the missing Lobster Man. Wabi TV The Coast Guard reportedly called off the search after spending 40 hours searching for Michaud.
