Elena Klopffenstein, a senior at Coconino High School, has been appointed Cameron Impact Scholar in 2025.
In this honorable, full lesson, Merit-based scholarships recognize students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, and community service.
The choice of Klopfenstein came after a rigorous application process that reviewed more than 3,000 applicants from across the country. After several evaluations, she was chosen as one of the last 15 academics based on leadership, community service and academic excellence. Klopfenstein has distinguished himself through his academic achievements, leadership roles and dedication to service.
Founded in 2015 by the Brian Cameron Educational Foundation, the Cameron Impact Scholarship supports extraordinary young leaders who are committed to making meaningful impacts in the community and beyond. Winners have received a four-year full award scholarship, and can take classes at universities or universities of their choice, and pursue higher education without financial barriers.
