Summerton, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – Day 3 and final of the Playa Azul Seipet Resort Casino Winter Nationals at Cocopa Speedway.

Since Thursday, drivers have not only polished their cars, but also tuned their pedals to medals, leading up to the final day of the 2023 Winter Nationals at Summerton’s Kokopa Speedway.

So far, Iowa native Shane Paris and Kerr 3C top the leaderboard with 228 points.

Tyler Bannister is the latest heat winner, number 151, heading into the races.

Retired NASCAR legends Bobby Labonte and Ken Schrader attended the event. Even the best of the best had new things to learn.

“For me, it’s that I don’t have a lot of experience in the dirt. So to talk to them, I’m learning more about them listening to them than I do, but for sure I’ve been running a lot, and I have a lot of experience in racing,” Labonte said.
