The Colorado Democrats are trying to sell taxpayer-funded abortions as “good fiscal policy.”

Opponents of the bill, including Brittany Vessley, executive director of the Colorado Catholic Conference, say the analysis “dramatically underestimates the costs of abortion, particularly the costs of late abortion.”
“Seriously, the bill sponsors say that if more babies die from abortion, it’s cheaper for the state,” Dr. Katherine Wheeler, a life support alumni and former abortion provider, told the committee.
