sedona news – This Halloween, the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department, Sedona Police Department, and Uptown merchants have partnered to once again trick-or-treat in the Uptown area on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. will be held.

Trick-or-treaters can expect the same safe and fun community experience this year as hundreds of families gather to enjoy this traditional Sedona event. Uptown businesses participating in the event will have “Participating Store” signs and will have a wide selection of candy supplies.

In addition to the community gathering in costume, Sedona Dance Academy and Halloween Uptown Dancers will present Thriller Dance flash mob style and other dance performances at Sinagua Plaza, 320 State Route (SR) 89A. The Sedona Fire District will be holding a Haunted Ambulance near the Canyon Breeze Shop located at 300 SR 89A.

There will also be a community favorite costume contest that will be fun for kids and adults alike. Participants can take photos, post them on social media and use the hashtag #SedonaHalloween. The costume with the most likes from our community will win a prize.
