Comedian Cristina Payne Accuses Corey Holcomb Of Punching Her In The Face

Christina Payne accused fellow comedian Corey Holcomb of punching her in the face outside a club in early December.

Witnesses reported that Payne was hanging outside the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club when Holcomb approached her and her friend and began yelling at them, law enforcement officials said. TMZ It was reported on Friday. According to TMZ, other sources say Holcomb threatened to punch Payne in the face, and a man who was at the club that night intervened. According to TMZ, Holcomb allegedly swung at the man and hit Payne in the face.

Ms Payne claims the altercation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the pair dating back several months.

According to TMZ, other people who witnessed the incident say multiple people and Holcomb tackled a man who was standing between the two comedians, and Holcomb fled shortly after.

Police attended the scene and took a report, and paramedics arrived to assess Payne and the other man. According to TMZ, it’s unclear if any injuries were confirmed, but sources say neither of them were taken to the hospital for further medical intervention.

Several sources told TMZ that Holcomb told others he was going to “supersock” Payne.

“Somebody please come get this bitch before I mess her up,” he allegedly said, according to TMZ.

Before the altercation, Holcomb saw Payne at a club and yelled profanities in her face, officials said.

People close to Mr. Payne suggested that Mr. Holcomb may have used the podcast as a platform to influence listeners into believing he had not hit the comedian. As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
