kids meditation class
The International Kadampa Retreat Center offers kids classes on Sundays from 11am to 12:15pm, offering meditation, games, stories and activities for the whole family. Children are gently guided through relaxing meditations and fun activities, and learn techniques to build confidence, focus and consideration for others. $3 per session.
mediation and mantra
Every Sunday until February 18th, meditation and mantra classes will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the International Kadampa Retreat Center. Learn what a mantra is, what are the two main spiritual elements to emphasize when chanting a mantra, and what results you can get. You can expect benefits from reciting the mantra. $5 per class. On Sundays, the temple grounds and gift shop open at 10:30 a.m.

Williams City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 7 p.m. at City Hall, 113 S. First Street. For the meeting agenda, visit williamsaz.gov. The general public is also welcome to participate.
WUSD Board Meeting
Williams Unified School District Board of Trustees meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at Williams High School Vikings Grill 440 S. The Seventh Street meeting agenda is available at WUSD2.org.
Canyon Chapel Mama's Closet
Mama's Closet is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Canyon Chapel Church, 720 W. Sheridan. Mama's Closet supports parents with diapers, wipes, toiletries, baby/toddler clothing, pregnancy testing, coaching, guidance, and referrals to other community resources. There are two locations in the Williams community that offer food donations. St. John's Episcopal Church, 202 W. Grant Ave., has an outdoor drop box. Northwoods Church, located at 100 N. Pinecrest Trail, also offers food pickup from 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.
You Are Not Alone Caregiver Support Group
The Angels Care Home Health Care Worker Support Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ponderosa Fire Station 81, 1511 North Spring Valley Road, Parks. The gathering is free and refreshments will be provided.
