Flagstaff Invites Community to Shape Food Action Plan
The City of Flagstaff is calling on all residents to engage in the upcoming Food Action Plan Open House. This initiative aims to build a healthier and more resilient local food system. Essentially, the Flagstaff Food Action Plan serves as a community-driven blueprint, outlining various goals and actions to enhance food access, support local businesses, promote public health, and tackle climate concerns. These open houses, along with online surveys, will give community members the chance to pinpoint the most pressing priorities for action.
Participants at the events will get insights into plan drafting, share their thoughts, and help guide the city’s next steps. There will be two events aimed at gathering community feedback this October.
