Two young men, a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old, were arrested Friday after allegedly attempting to rob an elderly woman in Washington, D.C., according to a report from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

The two juveniles are now charged with assault while armed with intent to commit robbery, MPD reports.
