SAFFORD — The Safford Downtown Association is ready to celebrate the Silver Anniversary of the Country Financial Light Parade.
The 25th Annual Light Parade takes place on Saturday 10th December on Main Street in Safford.
There are plenty of activities before the parade, including Santa meeting the boys and girls at the historic Safford Theater from 4-5:45pm.
Entertainment begins at 5:00 PM at the Kempton Chevrolet Stage in front of Safford City Hall.
SunZia and Pattern Energy will present prizes to the winners of the Merry Main Street Gingerbread House and Coloring contest, and the food court on 5th Avenue between Main and 7th Streets will open to the public at 4pm.
The parade begins at the Graham County Courthouse just after 6pm, travels east to 3rd Avenue and turns right onto 7th Avenue.
The city will close Main Street and its intersections at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, reopening at 10:00 p.m.
