Country Music Star Brantley Gilbert Interrupts Concert As Wife Gives Birth On Tour Bus

Country star Brantley Gilbert interrupted his concert Friday night to help his wife, Amber, give birth on his tour bus.

Gilbert revealed in a video posted to Instagram that he was abruptly removed from the stage during a show at Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi due to an “emergency.” The video shows the 39-year-old singer walking backstage before appearing on his tour bus, followed by a clip of his wife and newborn son.

“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Seeing such an amazing woman do such amazing things is something I’ll never forget.” he wrote in the caption. “The road family that rallied around us, Brittany Thornton who helped us bring this little guy into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi, who showed us so much love and support, and most of all… Thank you Amber Gilbert for letting me love you and for showing me how incredibly strong women are.

The “Bottom Up” singer shared a video of her on the phone with her mom asking how she was doing. “Not as good as you’re about to do. We’ve got a new grandchild,” Gilbert replied.

Gilbert’s mother excitedly asked about his wife, but Gilbert shouted that she was a “freaking savage”.

Upon returning to the stage, Gilbert announced, “We’re having a baby!” Cheers erupted from the crowd.

“We have added a new addition to the Gilbert family…God is good,” Gilbert posted on Instagram.

Initially a couple announced She announced her pregnancy on May 12, 2024, with the caption, “How about this for Mother’s Day?” Also included were ultrasound photos and photos of the couple’s two older children.

The parents did not immediately reveal the name of their third child.
