Country Music Star Riley Green Joins Long List Of Bar Owners In Downtown Nashville

Country music star Riley Greene will join a long list of artists in Nashville, Tennessee's bar scene, it was reported Thursday.

Green is apparently developing Winner's Bar & Grill into his own establishment, Riley Green's Duck Blind, and his team officially filed the application with Metro on Wednesday. According to The winners were announced in the Nashville Business Journal (NBJ).Facelift” but it looks like a complete rebranding.

Greene added to the buzz around his establishment by performing a surprise pop-up show at the nearby bar Losers in early August. Unlike artists like Morgan Wallen and Kid Rock, Greene is not an established figure on Broadway.

Greens Bar is located on Lower Broadway and you would think it would be quite different from your average Broadway bar, but it really isn't. (Related: Morgan Warren announces opening of law firm amid highly complex litigation)

There's no word on a planned opening date, but Winners promises a “big announcement” this fall. But is now really the best time to get into the bar business?

Country singer Rainie Wilson took over the space formerly home to Broadway country duo Florida Georgia Line in early 2024. Warren launched This Bar, and his best friend Eric Church opened The Chief's Bar.

Sure, all of these names are the new kings of country music, but they're also launching their businesses in a collapsing economy. Nashville was bracing for a 2023 recession, but things aren't getting better. Let's just hope these kids don't do something out of their league before this economic storm changes everything.
