Tragedy Strikes Central Texas Flooding
Country music artist Pat Green revealed that some of his family members were among the victims of a devastating flood that claimed over 100 lives in central Texas.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, Green requested privacy to cope with what he called “a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss.” He shared, “During the tragic floods that struck central Texas over the weekend, my family, like many others, faced profound losses. We are mourning alongside many Texans whose lives have been shattered by this catastrophe.”
His wife, Kori, later named a missing relative, underscoring the personal nature of their grief.
“We truly appreciate all the love and concern that has come our way,” Kori mentioned. “Pat’s brother John, his wife, Julia, and their two children have been completely lost to the flood in Kerrville. We are all anxiously waiting to hear any news.”
Recent reports indicate that at least 111 lives have been lost due to the severe flooding, with around 170 people still unaccounted for as of Wednesday.
