Benson, Ariz. (KGUN) — Shannon Kirkwood lives the dream, living in Benson and sharing his passion with those who visit.

Shannon and her husband Ian Kirkwood own KWD Ranch Decor Co. They opened a store in Benson at the end of March after operating out of St. David’s home.

Located just off 4th Avenue, this store sells a variety of merchandise, including clothing, home décor, and snacks.

“We wanted to make sure there was a place for local vendors to share their ideas and passions as much as we do,” said Shannon.

The Kirkwoods said the community’s response and support has exceeded expectations and they are grateful for the welcome their business has received. I chose to Shannon said there was no store like hers in the area until she opened the store.

Shannon said her passion for interior design and home decor since childhood has never wavered.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I always made sure my room looked nice, and I said to my mom, ‘I want this style, let’s go get it,'” she said. rice field. To make it special and new. That’s why I got it from her mother.”

Ian said his wife does the same thing at home as she did when she was a kid. She likes to change her home decor and keep things new and fresh.

The couple have plans to expand their business. Shannon said she plans to have a website so people can shop online. They hope the site will be ready for their customer by his June.

Shannon said they are also planning and preparing to add to their current inventory so they will be able to offer more.
