The Texas mother and stepfather pleaded guilty to forced tattooing of two children in 2023, Ktre reported.
Police arrested Megan Far and Gunner in April 2023 for tattooing children, aged 9 and 5. According to Affidavit obtained by KTRE. One child was tattooed on his legs and the other child had a tattoo on his shoulder.
Megan was charged with illegal detention and two counts of child injury. She pleaded guilty to injuring a child on Thursday and will be later declared KTRE. It has been reported. Gunner faced a child injury and illegal detention charges. he Plead guilty On March 19th, he was sentenced to two years in prison for detention. He was also sentenced to five years in each of the four counts of physical injuries in the child.
Authorities previously said Fars held the children down with ropes, sealed their mouths with tape, and covered their eyes with rags during the tattoo process.
The tattoo was discovered by the child’s biological father and stepmother, who confronted Megan about it. The affidavit said. The father said Megan laughed about the incident, kicked him out and urged him to involve Child Protective Services (CPS). According to the affidavit, parents rubbed, cut off and scrubbed the child to try to hide their tattoos. They also tried to remove the ink with lemon juice.
“The meat appeared to have been removed from the body at the tattoo location,” James Denby, interim director of Zavala Police Station, told KTRE previously. “This happened around the time CPS was involved.”

“I took a tattoo kit that someone came forward and claimed was loaned out to gunners to play the tattoo. She didn’t know it would be played by the kids,” Denby said.
The outlet was taken to CPS custody, including two children tattooed.
“Forcing your child to hold back your tattoos and restrain your own child is not entirely acceptable and is never allowed in Angelina County. There are kids who couldn’t stand up for themselves.
