The Texas mother and stepfather pleaded guilty to forced tattooing of two children in 2023, Ktre reported.

Police arrested Megan Far and Gunner in April 2023 for tattooing children, aged 9 and 5. According to Affidavit obtained by KTRE. One child was tattooed on his legs and the other child had a tattoo on his shoulder.

Megan was charged with illegal detention and two counts of child injury. She pleaded guilty to injuring a child on Thursday and will be later declared KTRE. It has been reported. According to the affidavit, parents rubbed, cut off and scrubbed the child to try to hide their tattoos. They also tried to remove the ink with lemon juice.

“The meat appeared to have been removed from the body at the tattoo location,” James Denby, interim director of Zavala Police Station, told KTRE previously. “This happened around the time CPS was involved.”

“I took a tattoo kit that someone came forward and claimed was loaned out to gunners to play the tattoo. She didn’t know it would be played by the kids,” Denby said.

The outlet was taken to CPS custody, including two children tattooed.

“Forcing your child to hold back your tattoos and restrain your own child is not entirely acceptable and is never allowed in Angelina County. There are kids who couldn’t stand up for themselves.
