A motorbike driver lost his life in an accident near Sun City.
Daniel Coogler, 46, died after being run over by his black Suzuki motorcycle on West Olive Avenue near North 103rd Street. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. on June 9, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Kugler was driving west on Olive Street and Lane 2. An SUV traveling east on Olive made a left turn to go north on 103rd Street and collided with a motorcycle. Mr. Kugler was ejected from the car.
The MCSO report said the SUV driver was examined and showed no signs of disability. Sheriff’s investigators do not believe excessive speed was a factor in the accident.
The MCSO continues to investigate the incident to determine whether a traffic violation by either driver was a contributing factor.
