Coconino County, Arizona. – Three people died in a multicar crash involving a tractor trailer, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
What we know:
The crash occurred around 3:25pm on Interstate 40 near Milepost 159. Both directions on Interstate 40 were closed for cleanup and investigation.
It was not clear whether close relatives to the three victims had been notified.

The closure is an additional burden for heavy snow covering northern Arizona.
The roads on State Route 89A and Interstate 17 have also been closed due to snow.
