Crazed bear that killed in unprovoked attack was healthy

The autopsy of the bear that killed a man in Arizona last week in an unprovoked attack showed it to be healthy. according to Dr. Anne Justice Allen, wildlife veterinarian with the Arizona Game and Fish Service (AZGFD).

“AZGFD officials believe the bear acted in what appeared to be a gratuitous predatory attack by an animal,” the agency said. “Bears are predators and can attack, injure and kill humans if they act aggressively towards them.”
