Creatures of the Night Walk (Registration required. Limit 15 participants) – Animals – Events



Join Ranger Nikki on an easy to moderate leisurely evening walk to enjoy the sunset and spotlight nocturnal animals. Click program title for more details.

Join Ranger Nikki for a 2-mile evening walk to enjoy the sunset and watch nocturnal animals become active in the Amigos Wash. We may see coyotes, owls, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and more! The route uses NoSo Trail, which has both flat and rocky areas, and approximately ½ mile of deep sand and gravel in Amigos Wash. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a flashlight and a UV blacklight. Please have your annual pass or $7 exact cash for the self-pay station. Restrooms and water are available at Trailhead Staging. MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging south at NoSo Trailhead. 

 

Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Usery Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.   Registration for this program will close on Thursday, August 24.
