Cyclist found injured near Tucson; deputies seek witnesses

The Pima County Sheriff's Office is seeking information regarding an apparent traffic crash that injured a bicyclist Friday in the southeastern edge of the Tucson area.

The ministry explained in a news release late Saturday:

On January 5th, around 5 p.m., the Sheriff's Office received a report of an injured bicyclist who was found by a passerby and taken to a local hospital.

Deputies received information that the incident, which was not mentioned in the news release, likely occurred that day in the area of ​​South Pistol Hill Road and East Colossal Cave Road between noon and 1 p.m. .
