Many Celtics fans and Bostonites in the media seem to think this is C-side prepping for a potential Damian Lillard trade, but I’m just saying that’s not happening. I’m saying that.As a matter of fact, I guarantee Damian Lillard going to the Miami Heat.
I’m not sure why there is so much misinformation about this whole thing, but it’s pretty clear what’s going on.
First, there’s the fact that Damian Lillard wants to play for the Miami Heat, and just the Miami Heat — so many sources are reporting it at this point in free agency.
Another source — @SichrisMannix — Damian Lillard admits he wants to play for the Miami Heat, and only the Miami Heat.
Again, anything else is misinformation. He won’t go to Boston, Philadelphia, or Miami. Guaranteed.

And I seem to have tweeted:
If Damian Lillard was a stalwart who spent 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers and literally didn’t listen to anyone about his departure the entire time, why do you think he would easily withdraw the Miami Heat’s trade request? Is not it?
The dame is going to be the heat for sure.

And then there’s the fact that Damian Lillard doesn’t like the city of Boston at all.
The Celtics are interested and capable of acquiring Damian Lillard, but Boston “is not necessarily a welcoming city for him,” the paper said. @ramonashelburne.

I’ve been part of this Damian Lillard story like flies swarming in manure in the middle of a horse pasture on a hot South Florida summer day, so no one can tell me about the “ice cold” situation. They won’t tell you otherwise. (Related: Straight comedy! Damian Lillard and Heat trade reportedly on hold because no one wants to *moisten* Ben Simmons)
I now 100% guarantee it… Damian Lillard will be the Miami Heat.
