According to TMZ, the situation quickly escalated when Trejo and a companion got out of their car to confront those who they believed had thrown water balloons at the actor's vehicle. However, they mistakenly approached another group. The mistake led to a brief scuffle that was quickly quelled when a passerby warned the people involved that they had children.
