The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) announced Friday that the Washington, D.C., government has agreed not to cremate the bodies of five late-term newborn infants who may have had botched abortions and may have been neglected.

“We just received confirmation from the Washington, D.C., government that they will halt cremations today. What this means is that we successfully stopped the Biden Justice Department and D.C. from destroying potential criminal evidence. and at the same time successfully prevented the proper burial of these young lives,” the press release said. “The D.C. government has also indicated to us that it intends to comply with Congress’ requests. We remain hopeful that D.C. will indeed conduct a formal investigation into the deaths of these infants. Masu.”

Republican Representative Chip Roy (Texas), Representative Andy Biggs (Arizona), and Senator Ted Cruz (Texas) sent letter It called for Parliament to be allowed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the infant's death and whether it violated the law. Rodney Adams, the coroner's general counsel, told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Tuesday that “the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not had any communication with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding this matter,” but there is no word on whether there is. did not further clarify. In March 2022, PAAU discovered the remains of 115 aborted infants in toxic waste containers at the Washington Surgical Center in Washington, DC. Five of the babies appeared to be in later stages of life, and PAAU claimed the bodies showed signs of life after giving birth. A failed abortion attempt.
The organization later turned over the body to Washington, D.C., police, who said they were investigating the matter but have provided few updates since then.
