WILLIAMS, Arizona – Interstate 40 near Williams has been closed, with Arizona DPS troopers investigating a fatal crash involving several vehicles.
Three people were killed in a crash crash, DPS officials said. Photos posted by the department show fires from the area where the crash occurred. Authorities say several tractor trailers were one of the vehicles involved.

Officials did not state the cause, but winter weather wiped out the area on Thursday, causing several road closures in northern Arizona.
“Drivers are reminding us to delay travel during the storm,” a DPS official said on social media. “If you have to drive, be very careful, prepare your vehicle and expect delays.”
