Karen DeBoer was officially introduced as the University of Alabama's 28th head coach during a press conference Saturday afternoon, with Chris Stewart, Dr. Stuart Bell, and Athletic Director Greg Byrne joining in to recognize DeBoer. A statement was released to introduce.
Nick and Terry Saban were in the front row and center of the room to watch the man's first speech as head coach at Alabama, as he seeks to continue the tradition and standards that Saban has established over 17 years.

One of the first people Mr. DeBoer thanked after his family was Mr. Saban, thanking him for what he had built and for the trust placed in him.
“He's the best guy in the business ever. And he has 100% access to everything. If he doesn't, I'm a fool, I'm a fool. I told him to give me one thing every day. “I'm sure he has 10 and I'm fine with that. But there's at least one thing he sees that we can improve on,” DeBoer said. Told.
DeBoer said he wants to do it “the right way” and build on everything Saban has already built.
Saban has always said he believes he has built a program that will last long after he is gone, and an Alabama brand that will outlive himself.
Greg Byrne selected DeBoer to continue his predecessor's legacy. However, this is certainly a difficult task, since the task he has to fulfill is very large. In fact, this may be the greatest challenge anyone has faced in the history of the sport.
It will be a big help for DeBoer to know that the GOAT is not far away and that he can rely on Saban for advice, guidance, or anything else.
