Decomposed Body In California Found After Dog Carries Human Head On Sidewalk

NBC 15 reported Thursday that a decomposed human body was discovered on a California sidewalk after a dog was carrying the head.

A decomposing human body was discovered in a shed in downtown Fresno after a dog dropped a human head onto the sidewalk. according to He told NBC 15. The Fresno Police Department responded to the scene after witnesses reported spotting a dog with a skull. Upon arrival, police found the body about a block away from where the dog was first seen.

However, the exact cause of death remains unknown pending further testing by the medical examiner's office, according to NBC 15. The disturbing incident has prompted a full investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the death and how the body ended up in the shed.
